| I'm a little behind this
week so the puppies were actually 2 weeks and 3 days old when these few
"hurried" photos were taken. All of their
eyes were open by day 14 and two days later they were beginning to hear
and recognise sounds. This is evidenced by their reaction when I
enter the room and they hear my voice and by the little puppy barks that
signal my arrival. Already
they are beginning to lift themselves up onto their feet and take notice as well
as becoming much more
alert and mobile. Katie continues to be an excellent mum and is very much
attuned to her babies' needs. |
