During the past week, the puppies have continued to thrive and their co-ordination has improved tremendously.  They now run around, wrestle and play with confidence and, gradually, their individual characters are beginning to shine through.  The little dog is proving to be the most reticent at the moment, but he is growing in confidence daily.  Bitch No. 3 is proving to be a real sweetheart and is the first to run to me and try climbing up my legs as I sit on the floor with them.  Bitch No. 2 is also very confident and friendly (she has a real "snooty" look when she looks at me!) ;-) while bitch No. 1 is equally as friendly but, despite being the biggest, is just a little bit more hesitant than bitch No. 3.   Their baby teeth have come through and I certainly know it as they nibble at my fingers and toes! Being fully weaned, they are gradually becoming less dependant on mum although she is more than happy to go in to them when she knows they have eaten so that she can clean up the leftovers!   They  quickly take advantage of her presence and run to her in an attempt to feed, despite her efforts to escape from those needle sharp teeth! ;-)  They usually win!! ;-)
