Well I tried! ...........
All I can say is thank goodness for the digital camera. I did my best, but
the results leave a lot to be desired and, to cap it all, my battery went flat,
so I gave up in despair! Taking photographs becomes more and more
difficult as the puppies are determined not to stand still for more than a few
seconds and would much rather investigate the camera than pose for photos.
No longer happy to be
confined to the puppy run, they now create an almighty row when they see my
adult shelties chasing each other around the garden and can't understand why
they can't join in the fun! They have been allowed to mix with them during
quieter moments under my very watchful eye and all are best friends together.
This week they have investigated the whole of the garden, picked up leaves and
twigs and experienced the feel of raindrops for the very first time!
Life for the puppies is one
big adventure and watching them play gives me endless pleasure and makes all the
hard work worthwhile.
